Why buy a Zenith watch?
Zenith unveiled the El Primero in 1969, an automatic chronograph movement that beats at 36,000 vibrations per hour (5Hz) and can time to a tenth of a second. It is still in production today. The other attraction is design: Zenith looks different from the luxury watches most buyers see every day.

Zenith's chronograph line and the one we hold most of. The Sport is the contemporary sports chronograph, for buyers who want a Zenith to wear every day. The Original follows the 1969 look, and the Open shows part of the movement through the dial. Its tri-colour chronograph counters set it apart. Defy
Zenith's more contemporary, angular family, including the integrated-bracelet Skyline. It suits someone after a modern sports watch with a less familiar design.
Revival
Revival brings some of Zenith's historic designs back in modern form, including the A386. They suit buyers who like the vintage look in a new watch.
Pilot
Large numerals and big crowns, inspired by early aviation instruments. It is the most distinctive of the four.

- Labels vary between sellers, so compare like for like. On our listings, "unworn" means the watch has never been worn and shows no signs of use, though it may still carry its original factory stickers. Our pre-owned watches are graded from excellent to good, so you know how much wear to expect.
- Box, papers and warranty
- "Full set" means the original box and papers come with the watch, including its warranty card and any certificates and booklets that came from new. "Watch only" means the watch on its own. These affect the price of a watch and how easily it resells. Bramleys Luxury offers its own warranty on the watches we sell, separate from any manufacturer warranty, so ask us in the boutique for the details.
- Movement and calibre
- Find out which calibre is inside the exact watch. Zenith chronographs that look alike can have different movements and different prices, so ask us and we will tell you.
- Bezel, bracelet and case
- On a pre-owned watch, look at the bezel, the bracelet and clasp, the case edges and the crystal. Ask about heavy polishing.
- Service history
- On a pre-owned watch, check the service history and whether any supporting paperwork is available.
Buying a Zenith watch from Bramleys in Dubai
Our boutique is in the InterContinental, Dubai Marina, and you can walk in and try a watch on without an appointment. We are open Monday to Saturday from 11am until 10:30pm (11pm on Thursday and Friday), and our contact page has the Sunday hours and the address. If there is a particular watch you want to see, WhatsApp or call us first and we will have it ready. If you like one but want a little time, we can hold it for up to three days with a small deposit.
