Welcome to Bramleys Luxury. Browse our current collection of authenticated pre-owned luxury watches below, sourced from leading brands including Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Richard Mille, Omega, Cartier, Breitling, Panerai, Hublot and TAG Heuer. Stock turns over quickly here — pieces sell, new arrivals come in, and the collection you see today won't be exactly the same next week. If there's a specific reference you're after and it's not currently listed, ask us; we can often source it.
What Does "Pre-Owned" Mean?
A pre-owned luxury watch is one that's had at least one previous owner and is now back on the market for resale. You'll see us use pre-owned, used and second-hand fairly interchangeably across the site — they all point to the same resale status.
Where it gets worth clarifying: pre-owned describes ownership, not wear. A watch can pass through a previous owner's hands and never be worn, which technically makes it pre-owned while it's still in unworn condition. New, by contrast, means it's never had an owner at all and has come straight from the brand or an authorised dealer. So the "pre-owned" label tells you about the watch's ownership history — how much it's actually been worn is a separate question, and it's one we answer individually for every piece rather than assuming from the label. That's covered properly in the condition section below.
For most of our customers, "pre-owned luxury watch" simply means a genuine timepiece with history that's been checked, valued and prepared for its next owner — same craftsmanship, same brand heritage, usually a more accessible price than buying new.
The Condition of a Pre-Owned Luxury Watch
Condition isn't uniform across pre-owned watches, even within the same reference. Two examples of the same Submariner can look and feel quite different depending on how they were worn and cared for, so it's worth knowing what actually goes into assessing condition:
Overall Wear
Light desk marks through to more noticeable use.
Case
Sharpness of the edges and lugs, scratches, dents, any signs of prior repair.
Bezel
Wear to the insert or edges, especially on watches worn regularly.
Crystal
Clear, or showing chips and heavier scratching.
Dial and Hands
Finish, printing, lume, sensitivity to age and handling.
Bracelet and Clasp
Stretch in the links, how securely the clasp still closes.
Movement
Running accurately, functioning as it should.
Polishing History
Has the case been polished before, which softens the original lines.
Servicing
Known service history, where we have it.
Overall Wear Level
We'll describe a piece as unworn, lightly worn or previously worn.
We'd rather you check the individual listing closely, or come and look at the watch in person at the Dubai Marina showroom, than assume every example of a reference is in the same shape. Every watch is inspected before it goes on sale, which is what our condition notes are actually based on.
How We Authenticate Every Pre-Owned Watch
Buying pre-owned means you're not buying straight from the brand — you're trusting whoever's selling it to have done the checking. So every watch that comes through Bramleys gets inspected before it's listed.
In practice that means confirming the brand and exact reference, checking the serial number against what's expected for that model, and going through the movement and individual components to make sure everything lines up with the watch's genuine specification. Where box, papers or other documentation exist, we check those against the watch itself too.
A genuine pre-owned Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Breitling or Panerai should have components, finishing and a movement that all match what the brand actually produced for that reference. Anything that doesn't is a red flag. Our team handles these brands daily, and it's that repetition — combined with a proper inspection on every single watch — that lets us stand behind what we sell.
Box, Papers and Provenance
Buyers often want to know a watch's backstory as much as its condition: who's owned it, and what actually comes with it. A pre-owned watch might have had one previous owner or several, and it might arrive with all its original accessories, some of them, or none.
Where the original box, papers, warranty card and other accessories are included, we say so clearly on the listing — you'll sometimes see this called a "full set." Where a watch is offered as "watch only," we say that too. We'd rather be upfront about what's included than let you assume more than what's actually there.
A complete set can add to a watch's story and its overall appeal, but a "watch only" piece that's passed authentication and condition checks is no less genuine — it just doesn't come with the extras. Either way, knowing exactly what's included alongside the condition and authenticity gives you the full picture before you buy.
Why Buy Pre-Owned Luxury Watches?
There are a few genuinely good reasons buyers choose pre-owned over new.
Discontinued References
Plenty of the most sought-after models simply aren't in production anymore — earlier GMT-Master II and Datejust references being good examples — and pre-owned is often the only route to them.
Rarer Pieces
Limited editions and special references tend to surface on the resale market far more than through a retail waiting list.
More Choice, Generally
Current, past and previous-generation references sit alongside each other in a pre-owned collection, rather than being limited to whatever's currently being made.
Price
Pre-owned is often more accessible than new retail — though how much depends on the individual watch, its reference, condition and completeness, and current demand. We won't tell you every pre-owned watch is automatically cheaper than buying new, because that depends on the specific piece.
Availability
If it's in stock, it's ready to view and buy — no waiting list.
Collectability
Certain references hold genuine ongoing interest among collectors — you'll see a number of them in our most sought-after selection — which makes them worth owning as well as wearing.
What actually makes buying pre-owned from Bramleys different happens before a watch ever goes on the site: authentication, condition inspection, and fair pricing from a team that handles pre-owned Rolex, pre-owned Patek Philippe, pre-owned Audemars Piguet, pre-owned Richard Mille, pre-owned Omega, pre-owned Cartier, pre-owned Hublot and pre-owned TAG Heuer day in, day out. This collection spans current, previous-generation, discontinued and hard-to-find pieces across those brands — if you want the deeper range for one brand specifically, its own collection page is the place to look. Come and view any watch at the Dubai Marina showroom, ask us anything, and buy knowing it's already been properly checked.
What Determines the Price of a Pre-Owned Luxury Watch?
Same brand, same reference, different price — it happens more than you'd think, and it's rarely down to one thing. Brand and exact model matter, obviously, along with the production year where it's relevant. From there it's condition, whether the components are original to that watch, servicing history if it's known, and what's included in terms of box, papers and accessories.
Rarity counts for something too. A limited run, a discontinued reference, or something that's just hard to find behaves differently on the market to a piece still in regular production. And demand for that particular reference shifts over time, which affects pricing regardless of everything else.
None of these sit in isolation — they interact. That's why we'd point you toward the condition, authentication and completeness of the specific watch you're looking at, rather than a price you might expect based on the reference alone. Happy to talk through pricing on any individual piece. Pre-owned is often more accessible than new, but it's not a fixed discount — the price reflects the specific watch in front of you.
Buying Pre-Owned Watches in Dubai
Dubai's been a major hub for luxury watches for a long time, and our showroom sits on the 1st Floor of the InterContinental Hotel, Dubai Marina, right in the middle of it. If you're searching for pre-owned watches in Dubai, used watches in Dubai, or second-hand watches in Dubai, this is where you can see the collection properly, try pieces on, and talk to someone who actually knows the watches.
Being in Dubai Marina means walk-in clients can check a watch's condition themselves, compare a few references side by side, and take something home the same day. If you're elsewhere in the UAE, or buying from further afield, we deliver too, so you're shopping the same authenticated collection either way. If you'd also like to see unworn and new pieces alongside pre-owned ones, our wider luxury watches in Dubai collection covers both.
Local to Dubai Marina or ordering from across the UAE — same standard applies: authenticated, condition-checked, sold by people who know these brands properly.

How is the condition of a pre-owned watch checked?
Every watch gets inspected before it's listed — case, bezel, crystal, dial, bracelet, movement, the lot. We describe each one as unworn, lightly worn or previously worn so you've got a sense of it before you see it in person.
Can you source a specific used Rolex or other luxury watch?
Yes. If it's not currently in stock, our team can often source it — get in touch with what you're after.

Yes, alongside pre-owned pieces. Browse our New Arrivals.
Are pre-owned, used and second-hand watches the same thing?
Broadly, yes — all three describe a watch that's previously been owned and is now being resold. What they don't tell you is how much it's actually been worn, since that's about ownership status rather than condition. We check and describe the real condition of each individual watch rather than relying on the label.
Where can I buy pre-owned luxury watches in Dubai?
At our showroom, 1st Floor, InterContinental Dubai Marina, where you can view and inspect watches in person before buying. We also deliver across the UAE and ship internationally for anyone buying online.
